In honor of National Volunteer Appreciation Month, I would like to offer my deepest gratitude for our vibrant, competent, passionate volunteers. This team of women and men are at the heart of our mission, providing alternative ways for people with print disabilities to read. Whether it be a reader in our ABLE Sound Center, a certified braillist, a volunteer bursting and binding materials to assemble braille books, a board member, an audio reviewer, an office volunteer doing any number of tasks—or any of the other many services our volunteers contribute—this team is vital to all that we do at ABLE, making a difference in the lives of those who are blind or print disabled every single day! –Cheryl Orgas
